One School + One School + One School + One Book =
Three Schools, One Book
This project is an idea that came from a website called, www.readtothem.org. Dr. Probe School began this One School, One Book project and passed the idea on to many other schools in Lethbridge, including Nicholas Sheran and MMH. From there, these westside schools decided this project would be even more awesome if we tried linking all three schools to one book. So, we tried it! And in 2013, we have launched our first ever THREE SCHOOLS, ONE BOOK project!
Helping our Community
One of our community based project for Three Schools One Book is to benefit the CALGARY ZOO. We will be collecting old cell phones in our school offices. Eco Cell will donate funds to benefit the zoo for each cell phone collected.
Our second project is to benefit the LETHBRIDGE ANIMAL SHELTER. We will be collecting items to benefit the animals at the shelter. Ideas for items are:
- dog and cat food
- leashes and collars
- pet toys and treats
We will collect these items in the school foyers.
Donation timeline: before Feb. 4th.
